Re-assembling objects from everyday life unleashes my enthusiastic optimism. When I enrolled in art school many years ago, a teacher told me to go home and work from the heart. I have been forever grateful for this advice. Hopefully, you can see this in my work.

When I was growing up, I was very shy and always looked down, that's when I found the world at my feet. You can call me an avid street comber. Finding materials that are broken, loved, unloved — the excitement of a torn piece of paper, a candy wrapper, scraps of fabric, plastic.

So many beautiful objects, life is incredible.
